I am an innovative and analytical biomedical science leader who has used human transcriptomics and human genetics to identify drug targets and developed novel assays to reveal disease mechanisms and assess whether drug targets ameliorate cellular disease pathology. I am known for being a caring, thoughtful scientist who develops domestic and international collaborations by conceiving of projects, designing novel platforms, generating content, and both writing & illustrating fund-raising documents. My creativity and biomedical research efforts have constituted company investment strategies. I advocate for human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)-based models for discovery and preclinical research, which reduces animal usage and costs while increasing throughput. Collectively, my consultation has resulted in advanced solutions that positively impacted therapeutic discovery and brain health.
